About Us
Epicenter Design is a full service motorsports engineering company. By combining attention to detail and traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering tools, we provide custom engineered and hard to find parts to meet your motorsports needs. In addition, we design and manufacture products to make your life easier both at the track and in your garage. We also provide car support both in our shop and at the track.
Rooted in Southwest Michigan, in what has long been considered the tool & die capital of the world and the heart of Michigan wine country, we are well acquainted with craftsmanship and tradition. Our owner, Rob Ritt, is a mechanical engineer and a lifelong gearhead with 14 patents to his credit and a skilled machinist, fabricator, and mechanic. He has a passion for motorsports and has raced bicycles, dirt bikes, and vintage sportscars. While in college, he designed, built, and raced his own shifter kart that incorporated several of his own innovative ideas concerning aerodynamics.
